How to switch between desktop environments under Fedora E-mail

There are several ways to do that. The easiest one is to use the switchdesk application.

 

To install switchdesk run the following command as root:

 



# yum install switchdesk

 

To switch from KDE to GNOME run the folowing command with your user (not with root!):



# switchdesk gnome

 

To switch from GNOME to KDE run the folowing command with your user (not with root!):



# switchdesk kde
